Tierra Rejada is north of Thousand Oaks in Moorpark, off the Moorpark Freeway at Tierra Rejada Road, then east. Pure golf, no housing or development surrounding the course, nice setting in the foothills of eastern Ventura County. The course has mostly interesting and unique holes, it was designed by Bob Cupp, and has four(4) sets of tees, (5,148 yards from the forward tees to over 7,000 from the back tees), with 73.4/132 ratings from the tips. Great conditions, fair rates, in fact the greens fees are low for the quality of the layout and the facilities. Hard to find a level lie in the fairways, a lot of elevation change and undulation/mounding throughout. Nice views, very scenic to play, the front plays to a par of 37 and like 3700 yards while the back plays to a par of 35. There are some goofy holes, like the par 3 17th, a 100 yard par 3, but otherwise a good mix of holes. The range is grass most of the time, there's a good short game practice area with 2 bunkers and room to pitch the ball as far as 50 yards. Unfortunately, the course is not walkable due to the elevation change, but otherwise hard to find a complaint about the course.

Awesome golf course, pretty challenging but not overly difficult. Greens were in pretty bad shape however. Great clubhouse w/ very good food and a great atmosphere.
