Tiara Rado is on the west side of Grand Junction, exit 26 off I-70. It's a muni, owned and operated by the City of Grand Junction, but a fair place to play in the area. It's routed partially through a residential development at the base of the Colorado National Monument's red cliffs. It was designed by Tom Kolacny and plays to 6,182 yards, par 71, with 69.0/120 ratings. Parkland style of layout, the homes don't really get into the way, the front side is interesting and a good mix of holes, while the back is mostly back and forth, not much in the way of character. Rates are reasonable, conditions are usually OK, and it does get busy, especially late afternoon.

Just got back out to play after they reopening the back 9. They changed a few holes around, and added some new greens, and lakes in play. I was amazed they got the course open so soon after construction, and it was really in pretty good shape, a little rough here and there, but not bad. There are a few changes to the front 9, mainly some rebuilt tee boxes and new bunkers, but the big change is on the back. It's a more enjoyable and player friendly golf course than it was.
