The Witch is pure golf carved through a pine forest. It's off the the Carolina Bays Parkway at Rt 544, north of the Legends Resort. The course plays to a 71 par from the tips, 71.2/133 and 6796 yards, but has four shorter sets of tees. We didn't find the length the biggest challenge here, just managing you tee ball and approach to the greens the main challenge. Tight golf course through wetlands, with water, tree lined fairways, and tight landing zones the order of the day. The greens fees are reasonably priced for the Myrtle Beach area, and the quality of the course, as is the golf shop, and the restaurant and bar. We found the guest service to be good, both in the golf shop and on the course with the beverage cart girl. The routing has almost no parallel fairways, just isolated and unique holes that require good accuracy off the tee, even though they're mostly wide open, it's a placement course. Good mid-priced golf in MB.

Unfortunately they aerated the greensin the past week, but they were growing back nicely. The scenery was very nice, the fairways were in very good shape, but you had to be accurate off the tee box. You had to be able to work the ball left to right or right to left to get the ball in a good position on the green. I would/will play this course again. It is the best course to play for the value in the area, at least this week.
