The Reserve is on rolling farmland in the Willamette Valley is 20 miles west of downtown Portland, and has two great 18 hole courses. The South course at 7172 yards 132 slope from the back tees, and is open for public play half of the month, and was designed by John Fought. It's parkland style with rolling hills, tree lined fairways, and well bunkered around the greens and at the fairway's landing areas. The North course is open the other half of the month for public play is 6835 yards, 135 slope from the championship tees, and was designed by Bob Cupp, who also designed Crosswater and Pumpkin Ridge. It's a rolling links type of layout with a lot of mounding, bunkers in the fairways and greenside, and tall native fescue grasses bordering the fairways, and is a nice contrast to the South course. Both courses extremely well maintained, and with excellent private club type of service, greens fees were reasonable for the quality of the course and the experience.
