The course is on the south side of San Antonio, about 15 minutes from downtown. It's routed over slightly rolling land on the Salado Creek with tree lined fairways. It's a fun golf course, fairly straightforward, every thing's in front of you, and is somewhat forgiving. There's good room off the tee, the holes are separated from each other by the forested land. It was designed by Art Schaupeter, and opened in 2002. The greens are fast with slight undulation, and were in excellent shape, as was the rest of the course. At half the price of La Cantera and Hill Country, this along with Pecan Valley is a real bargain.
