The Refuge is north of the Twin Cities, off MN 65 at Sims Road NW. The course is a more traditional northwoods style of course, but close to town, and from the back tees is 6500 yards, 139 slope and was designed by Ken Norby in 2001. Woods and wetlands pretty much describes the course, challenging to avoid the hazards, but enjoyable nonetheless, and at a decent price.
