The Manor Golf Club has been a private club over the years, but has recently opened up for public play. It's expensive, but a treat to play if you have the chance. It's on the north side of Atlanta in Alpharetta, off the 400 at Atlanta Highway, then west. The course and facilities are very upscale, conditions are generally excellent, although service is a little snooty. It's a Tom Watson design, 7,100+ yards from the tips, we play from the White tees at 6,338 yards, 70.6/135 ratings, and it's a stiff challenge. It's a development course that hasn't really taken off as of yet so there aren't many homes on the course. Mostly tree lined fairways, dotted with a good amount of sand, the occasional water, playing to good sized greens. Would highly recommend, mid-week the rates aren't that bad, and it's never been crowded.
