The Grove Golf Club

The Grove is on the northwest side of London, 30 minutes from Heathrow, an hour or so from Gatwick. It's a very strong parkland style of course designed by Kyle Phillips, who also designed Kingsbarns. It was the former estate of the Earl of Clarendon, and has a five star 227-room resort on the grounds, but you don't have to stay here to play here. Very much a minimalist design with the holes and routing with the land so to speak, and from the championship tees is 7,152 yards, 72 par. Beautiful grounds, clubhouse, and accomodations here, very well landscaped. Played here this summer, found the course to be in reasonably good condition, just a bit on the expensive side as it compares to other courses in the area.
