The Golf Club at Summerbrooke was a nice find, not far off I-10 while traveling through Tallahassee, and was 5 minutes from the Thomasville Road exit on the north side of town. It was quite and interesting layout, we played from the middle tees at 6,406 yards 71.7/135, and we found it to be more of a Carolina type course with pine tree lined fairways over rolling hills, than your typical Florida course. It opened in the early 1990's as part of a real estate development which surrounds the course, and was designed by Dean Refram. We found the course to be in good condition, rates all-in were $40 for mid-week play, and the course designed interesting and challenging. The staff was courteous, professional, and attentive. All in all a good course to recommend while traveling through Tallahassee.
