The Camelot Golf Club is 15 minutes due south of Fond du Lac, off US 41 at exit 85 in Lomira. The course is well out in the country, surrounded by farmland and forest with no development or homes along the holes. The trees are scattered along the holes, so off-line shots are recoverable for the most part, however there's a good amount of water and some sand, mostly greenside, in play. Nice variety of holes, with drivable par 4's, and par 5's in two, a strong set of par 3's, a course where on any given hole you can either birdie or double bogey. It's hilly, but walkable, rates are a little steep on weekends, but you can catch a break during the week, and late afternoons. There's four sets of tees, the Whites are right at 6,000 yards, 68.2/123 ratings, The course was originally designed by Homer Fieldhouse in the 1960's, but has been updated and renovated over the years, and can always be counted on to be in good shape.
