The course is in a residential development southeast of Charlotte in the Matthews area, off I-485 at Lawyers Road exit. It's 6922 yards and 137 slope from the tips, but has three other tees. and was designed by John Casell. Some holes have nice sized fairway landing areas, others are tight and tree lined. Plenty of challenge with doglegs, water hazards, and sand. Well maintained, and convenient location off I-485.

Our golf association plays here twice a year during the week, and, since we play early, we never encounter the slow play that seems to plague this course. The greens had an unusual number of unrepaired ball marks, but were generally in good shape. Surprisingly, the fairways had an unusual amount of what appeared to be crab grass. Still a good traditional play-bang around on the internet for a good weekend deal.
