The Carolina Club is west of the Florida Turnpike in Margate, off at Sample Road, then west a couple of miles and south on Rock Island. Fairly typical, but nice Florida development type of layout with water, wetlands, sand, pine trees, and homesites to navigate as you're going around. It's one of the more reasonably priced courses of good quality in the area, the price you pay is time, it's always a slow round here. From the black tees it's 6,550 yards, par 71, with ratings of 72.1/141, and was designed by Devlin/vonHagge. Straightforward layout, a good amount of water in play, plenty challenging, but fair off the tee. Usually in nice shape, a good alternative to some of the higher priced courses in the area.
