The golf club at Telluride is one of the more stunning settings for golf that I've played. It's a true mountain style of layout in terms of setting, with the 14,000 foot San Juan mountains surrounding the course. It's 6,679 yards from the tips, par 70, and is 9,545 feet above sea level, so the course really plays at lot shorter at this altitude. Nice clubhouse and facilities, ample driving range and short game area, open to public, we were staying in a condo in town and were able to play with no problem. The first two holes are very strong, but then it levels out to become a fairly straightforward layout. Typical mountain course with lots of elevation changes. Great views, most greens are impossible to read, a few quirky holes, a few great ones, you'll be challenged when you play it the first time.

Really tough track. In great condition but the greens are severely undulated and can really punish you. They were rolling really well. Course was in good shape and was a great deal for the price I paid. I'd play it again in a heartbeat.
