Tamahka Trails

Tamahka Trails is part of the Paragon Resort and Casino, about 30 minutes south of Alexandria on Route 1. The course is the best in our area by far, and you don't need to be a casino guest to play it. It was designed by Steve Smyers and has a nice mix of holes, a few tree lined or bordered, some more open, interesting, fun to play, and well conditioned. From the back tees, it's a slope of 133, course rating of 74.4, and 7000 yards from the back tees. Great layout, plenty of sand, challenging, but fair from the right tees for your level of play. It's got a little of everything, right-to-left holes, and left-to-right, rolling hills, and some blind shots, overall enjoyable course to play.
