Sycuan Golf Resort is an Indian owned resort on the east side of San Diego in El Cajon off Dehasa Road, used to be the Singing Hills golf course. There's 54 holes of golf, a par 3, 18 hole course, the Oak Glen Course, originally designed by Ted Robinson in 1980 with redesign work by Dave Flemming in the early 1990's. The other course, Willow Glen originally opened in the 1950's, but was redesigned by Ted Robinson in 1980. The resort has been updated and is a comfortable and affordable golf resort for the San Diego area, but you don't have to stay at the resort to play the golf courses. Willow Glen is 6,605 yards from the tips, 72.3 course rating and 129 slope, and is the better of the two championship courses here with more elevation change and character than Oak Glen. Oak Glen is a little easier with a 122 slope, 71.3 course rating from the 6,600 yard back tees. Both courses in a very scenic setting in the foothills, well conditioned to the point of being over-watered.

I've found Oak Glen to be a bit boring. The holes are pretty basic and straight. Glen is shorter also. But honestly any golf at Sycuan is fun, regardless of the 18 you choose, but I prefer Willow
