Swan Point is in southern Maryland on the Potomac, an hour south of DC depending on where you are.
The course was designed by Bob Cupp in 1988, and from the back tees is 6,859 yards, 73.1/130, course/slope with four shorter tees. It's a vintage Southern Maryland course with a Carolina-style feel with pine tree lined fairways, forced carries over marsh, and some very tight landing areas with brutal par-3's on the backside. You're in total isolation in natural surroundings, it's just a hike to get here.
