Swan Point is in southern Maryland on the Potomac, an hour south of DC depending on where you are. The course was designed by Bob Cupp and from the back tees is 6,700 yards, 130 slope from the back tees, opened in 1988. It's a vintage Southern Maryland course with a Carolina-style feel with pine tree lined fairways, forced carries over marsh, and some very tight landing areas with brutal back-nine par-3s. You're in total isolation here in natural surroundings, it's just a hike to get here, but worth it. Fairly straightforward course, with a few semi-blind shots, and forced carries.
