Sunbrook Golf Course is on the west side of St. George, off the I-15 at exit 6, then north on Dixie Drive. First time I'd been to the desert and with this kind of elevation change and scenery, and found the course and setting to a good choice in the St. George area for a mid-scale course. There's three nines, The Woodbridge nine had the most elevation change, and the signature hole there has you teeing off a bluff, overlooking the 4th hole's island green. The Black Rock Nine has three holes routed through a lava field, and was the most difficult. The Pointe nine is routed over hilly land, tree lined fairways, with plenty of water and sand, and risk/reward type shots. The Pointe is 3,374 yards, Blackrock, 3,384 yards, and Woodbridge is 3,444 yards all from the back tees, and were designed by Ted Robinson. We thought Black Rock was the most difficult, with Woodbridge right up there, overall an enjoyable golf course and experience, a little expensive in full season.
