The course is just off the I-405 at University in Irvine. It was designed by James W. Lipe in 1997, and from the back tees is 6,700 yards, par 71, with a 137 slope. You really pay for location with the greens fees here. It's a good layout which is routed through rolling hills of the area with great views all around. Conditions can be suspect here at times, but on my last visit it was in decent shape. The greens are large and in good shape and the tees are plenty large enough to allow multiple teeing areas. The layout opens and narrows in the right places through the canyons and wetlands, with water in play on a number of holes. Extremely expensive, not sure it's worth the price very often.
