StoneLinks Golf Course is on the east side of Little Rock, about 10 minutes from downtown. Either take the I-440 to Exit 8, Faulkner Lake, then east to the course, or I-40 to Valentine Road, then south to the course. From the back tees, the course can play to just over 7,000 yards, 72.8/125, and is an open and links style course designed by Steve Holden and Tommy Thomason. Fairly open off the tee, but the landing areas are scattered with pot bunkers, and the fairways lined with fescue type tall grasses. Not the greatest of conditions, but reasonable rates, and convenient to Little Rock. Not a real upscale course or experience, but tolerable for a round of golf in the Little Rock area.

Greens have firmed up and are faster than they've been all summer. Still some irregularities from aeration, but course is looking better than it has in a while. Its a good deal right now.
