StoneBridge is on the east side of Shreveport in Bossier City, off I-220 at the Swan Lake exit to the north. The course is a good mix of wide open, links-style holes and some tree lined. It's routed through a newer residential community with mounded fairways, water and sand, and homes lining a few of the holes. It was designed by Fred Couples/Gene Bates to be part of an upscale neighborhood, and has a very nice clubhouse. It's presently a semi-private course, and a little snooty and overrated, but the layout is enjoyable, and conditions usually good. It's very challenging, be prepared to loose a few balls as there's water in play on most holes.
