Stonebridge is northeast of Memphis near the Wolfchase Galleria, off I-40 at Stage Road, on the east side. The course actually abuts the Interstate on the south side, and is routed through an upscale residential community. Typical development course with homes lining the fairways, a lot of them blocked by trees, and not all that intrusive. Great practice faility here, big range, chipping and putting greens. The course was designed by George Cobb in the mid-1970's and plays from 5,000 yards to 6,700 yards, the Blue tees are 6,229 yards, 121 slope. Nice layout, lots of variety, and generally well conditioned. It's a challenging layout, a good amount of water in play, sand, and trees lining the fairways, greens are good sized, sloped and undulating. Conditions have slipped in recent years, rates haven't, but should!
