Stone Hedge is about 40 minutes northwest of Scranton, and was designed by James Blaukovitch in 1991 in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. From the back tees, it's 6600+ yards, 126 slope, and is a challenging and fun course to play if you bring your long game, and can hit the fairways. There's a good mix of tree lined holes, as well as some more open, and a nice change in elevation adding some character. The greens are good sized, good speed with slight break, and sloping. Overall, a very scenic setting, and good service both on the course and in the golf shop.
