Stone Canyon is on the east side of Kansas City near Blue Springs, just outside the I-470 at the Woods Chapel Road exit off I-70, and very convenient to the Interstate. Originally was intended to be a private layout, designed by Greg Norman, but is open to public play. Very challenging layout, the greens were quick and true, conditions good for such a new course, and overall enjoyable. It's a good time to play the course before they end up building homes along the holes, and turning it private, but that may be a while. Five sets of tees from 5,000 yards to just over 7,000 yards, the Bronze tees were 6,227 yards, 70.5/135, a very strong test, not best suited for the higher handicapper though.
