Starr Pass is located in northwest Tucson, exit 259, then west on Starr Pass Blvd and is located in a resort/residential development along with a JW Marriott resort. The course is a Bob Cupp/Arnold Palmer design with 27 holes, the Coyote, Rattler, and Roadrunner with the the Coyote/Rattler the longest and toughest combination at 7000 yards, 138 slope. All of the courses have similar routings through the desert waste ares with forced carries over the desert scrub with plenty of sand and numerous risk/reward holes. Good elevation change, super par 3's, and beautiful scenery over the valley and surrounding the course. Nicely conditioned, and pricey in the season

Beautiful layout with natural arroyos, elevation changes and swirling, windy day, a beautiful and challenging course. Rattler is the longest of the three nines, Roadrunner has the best views with dramatic elevation changes. Coyote is has the wildlife including jackrabbits, quail and deer.
