Stanley is a good old parkland muni, southwest of Hartford in New Britain. It's off I-84 to Route 9, 1st exit at New Britain Ave/exit 30, then right about a half-mile. There's three nine hole tracks here, White is 3,230 35,2/114; Red is 3,222, 35.5/116; Blue is 3,149, 34.7/120 all from the back tees with three shorter sets of tees. Geoffrey Cornish, Robert Ross, and John Napier all had a hand in the golf courses design and layout over the years. The courses get a lot of play, especially on the weekends, Fun golf courses, easy on the game, kept in reasonably good condition, and a real value, especially if you're from the area.
