St Marlo is in an upscale housing development in Duluth, north of the perimeter. From the 400 North, exit 10, then Hwy 14, to Hwy 141, then on McGinnis Road. The course was designed by Dennis Griffiths, and from the Gold tees is 6,923 yards, 73.5/138. Water comes into play on nine holes in the form of waterfalls, ponds and streams. Nice rolling and tree lined land, it's definitely one of the better courses in the Atlanta area. Really upscale setting, clubhouse, and even the houses surrounding the course. Big greens, well guarded, roll true with a good amount of break. Extremely well conditioned, and the greens fees are on the high side, but it's a good quality course and experience.

Another great round at a great course in great condition. The greens have never been truer, once we adjusted to the fact that they were rather quick. The fairways create an almost perfect lie, and the rough was lush in most places and not too penal

The greens, fairways and tee boxes are in a pleasure to play on. The course provides enough of a challenge to keep you coming back.
