Springfield is located in S Carolina, 20 minutes south of Charlotte at the Carowinds exit off I-77. It's just pure golf here, a Clyde Johnson design of 6906 yards, 145 slope. Tree lined, or bordered fairways, raised and sloped greens, well bunkered, tough driving holes with fairways pinched by the trees. Nice mix of tough and moderate holes, requires excellent course management with 13 holes with water in play. Very challenging, no matter what tee you select, well conditioned, and fair rates.
