Springdale Country Club is about 15 minutes east of Waynesville on US 276. It's a fine parkland type of layout, 6,812 yards from the black tees, 72.5/130, designed by Joe Holmes, and always in good shape, and a great test of golf at a reasonable price in the mountains. The fairways and greens were in good to very good shape, the greens were just challenging enough to make you think about the putt, the course is a true hidden gem that we hadn't heard of until we found it on this website, and added a review. Nice mix of wide open holes, and others which are tight and tree lined, over rolling hills, a thinking man's golf course for the most part. Great golf in the Smokeys between Rocky Face Mountain and Cold Mountain, you won't be disappointed.
