Spring Hill is between Corvallis and Salem, a few miles off I-5 in Albany. It's a classic Northwest parkland style of golf course with tight tree lined fairways over relatively level ground. It had been a private club, but is open to public play, expensive on weekends, but lower rates off-peak. The course has been around since the early 1960's, designed by Bud Fortier, the original owner, later renovated by Bill Robinson. It's 6,500 yards from the tips, we play from the White tees at 6,233 yards, 68.9/124 ratings, and find it plenty challenging. Unusual in that it has 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's, and 6 par 5's, but it works. Fun course if you can keep the ball in the fairways off the tee, and you have a decent short game you can score well here, the holes are mostly short.
