Southers Marsh is southeast of Boston in Plymouth, off Route 3 at Samoset west to Federal Furnace a few miles to the golf course on the east side of the Plymouth Airport. Executive style course, par 61 at 4,100 yards. Good value for the dollar, and an interesting layout, routed through cranberry bogs, bright red in the Fall, with a number of forced carries. Very well maintained course and great guest service, both on the course and in the clubhouse. Not the upscale or championship level layouts of the Pinehills experience, but a good quality layout at a reasonable rate. Great course to work on the short game, and for a 3 hour round of golf!
