The course is located on the west side of Minot, and is definitely the best muni in the state. It plays to 6,759 yards from the longest tees with a course rating of 72.5 and a slope of 125 from the rear tees. It was designed by Mike Morley, and opened in 1968. It's a parkland style course routed through a valley with large mature trees, big, mildly breaking greens, and bunkers throughout the course with water in play on on eight holes. The greens are slightly sloped, and the fairways are ample, and the course is kept in pretty good condition with as much play as it gets in the short season.
