The Sound Golf Links is southwest of Elizabeth City between Hertford and Edenton on the Albemarle Sound. The course is routed through the forest and a housing development with a couple of holes right on the Sound. From the back tees it's 6,502 yards, with a course rating of 70.9 and a slope of 126, and was designed by Dan Maples in 1990. Beautiful course and setting, routed through marshes and cypress groves, challenging course for my game, some of the fairways are quite tight, but overall very enjoyable, well maintained, and fair rates.

Always nice to come back to play this course. Good conditions, nice setting, challenging hole design, and fair rates. Good clubhouse facilities and service, nothing negative here, all makes fr a good day of golf.
