Skybrook is a residential development between I-77 and I-85 off Eastfield Road in Huntersville, about 20 minutes north of Charlotte. The course is fairly new, but has grown in well. It's routed around a residential development and was designed by John LaFoy, and from the back tees is 7028 yards, 132 slope. It's a fun course to play with a lot of elevation change from tee to green, almost mountain style of course with heavy tree lined fairways, elevated tees and greens. Very well conditioned, tough to play the first time out, but a quality layout and usually in good condition.

Good shape for April. Greens were still a little bumpy after a aeration within the last few weeks. The fairways were still mostly dormant (again, expected), but they weren't rock hard like a lot of courses right now. Honestly, I am not sure if it is worth the rack rate of $49 on a weekday. We got the 'clickit' deal for $39, which was a fair price. This was my first time here and I enjoyed the layout very much, will be back
