Silverado is across the street from McCormick Ranch at Indian Bend, just east of Scottsdale Road. The course is tucked between a couple of housing developments, sort of the wash area between with parallel holes out and back, and that's my only complaint on the course. There are a number of opportunities for shots from the opposing holes in your fairway here, but otherwise a good value course, fun to play, and usually well conditioned. It's a par 70 layout, and from the back tees is only 6,313 yards with a 68.0 course rating and a 116 slope, designed by Gilmore-Graves. Plenty of room off the tee, forgiving if you're in the desert waste areas, interesting holes, a good amount of sand and some water throughout. Reasonably priced alternative to the high end courses around Scottsdale. The highways line the start of the back 9, and were a little distracting, regardless, it only got better from there. Gorgeous 13th and 15th and 16th holes, among the others. Beautiful semi-island par-3 on 18.
