Shadowood is right at the I-65/US 50 exit in Seymour, midway between Louisville and Indianapolis. It's a reasonably priced, straightforward, and playable layout, nothing fancy, but a good basic southern Indiana golf course. The fairways are tree lined and run parallel to each other, there's water in play on a number of holes, with a decent amount of sand. Conditions are generally good here, it's a relatively flat course and walkable, with basic back and forth hole design. First impressions driving up to it seemingly at the back of a motel weren't great, but it turned out to be a fair and fun course to play, and very convenient to I-65. We played from the middle tees at 6,336 yards with a 119 slope and 70.6 course rating, enjoyable and a relatively quick round.
