Seven Bridges is on the far west side of Chicago, between Downers Grove and Naperville in Woodridge, take 63rd Street off I-355, then west to Lincoln. One of the better courses in Chicago, and their rates show it, high on weekends, lower in the afternoons, and during the week. The course was designed by Dick Nugent, and from the tips is just over 7,100 yards, 140 slope. Two different nines, the front side is parkland style with tight tree lined fairways, where placement off the tee is the key. The back nine is where the "bridges" come into play with water traversing the course, and hilly and sloping fairways that penalize the misses. The course is very well maintained, gets a lot of play, and is always a big challenge, especially if you spray the ball.

Good conditions and a lot of water (too much). You are going to lose some balls. However, some of the holes have some houses on one side. It does not circle through a development with houses on both sides, so it should not be an issue. There are a lot of mature trees and several nice looking holes, good shape and reasonable rates.
