Serenoa Golf Club is on the east side of I-75 and just south of the exit at Clark Road. The course is routed through a tightly packed residential community, and has a different mix of holes, short-but-tricky holes, with plenty of water and wetlands, and sloping, tough-to-putt greens. Usually in good shape, and a fair and playable course, it can play to 6,383 yards from the back tees, and 6,035 from the one-up white tees.To score well here you need to have good course management to keep your ball out of trouble. That can be a test on this track, which has five dogleged holes on each side, with most of those lined by water or trees. One of the better holes is No. 13, only 350 yards, but a massive pond to carry, and trouble all the way up the right, the 150-yard marker entices but requires a drive that will carry the pond and then sit quickly before running through the fairway. From there, a sloping green guarded by brambles on the right can cause problems with the chipper or flat stick. Rates were fair for the time of year, course was in reasonably good condition.
