Seneca is a muni run by the city of Louisville, and is located about 10 minutes east of downtown off I-64 at exit 10. It's actually one of the better courses in the area in terms of strength of layout, it's just that with a muni it gets a lot of play, conditions aren't always up to upscale daily fee standards, but at least the rates are right. There's three tees ranging from 5,460 yards to 7,134 yards, with 73.7/130 ratings from the tips. It's routed over rolling hills with tree lined fairways, very straightforward, and can play long. It was the site of Gary Player's first win in the US when the 1958 Derby City Open was held here. Hilly golf course with a lot of character and interesting shots, well run golf shop and overall operation.
