Seminole Golf Course is on the south side of Tallahassee off Pottsdamer Road. It's a FSU owned and operated course, but is open to public play. The course has been updated over the years and is a solid track, more traditional layout with tree lined fairways, and a good amount of sand and water in play. We play from the Garnet tees, and it's 6,897 yards, 72.9/128, but there's three shorter and one longer set of tees, and designed by Bill Amick. Fair golf course, but long and difficult for my game, it's usually and good shape, and you can usually count on a 5 hour round. Since the rates are low for students, you get a lot of play here.

Yes, it might be an inexpensive University course but the course is in great shape. The greens were converted to champion bermuda grass about a year ago and rolled as good as any greens I''ve ever played. There are many nice courses in the area but would always opt to play here. It was in great shape minus a little standing water in the bunkers but definitely a course to consider when you''re in the area
