Semiahmoo Resort is located in Blaine, north of Bellingham and has two very good golf courses. The Loomis Trail course plays to an overall yardage of just over 7100 yards and a 145 slope, and has 4 other tee boxes. There's water on every hole and this is one of the tougher tracks in Washington. It was designed by Graham Cooke and is open to the public on even days of the week. The second course is Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club course, designed by Arnold Palmer, and is 7005 yards from the back tees, 137 slope. It's a parkland style of course with rolling fairways, water in play on 5 holes, and good use of bunkering. The fairways are more generous than Loomis, and with both courses the greens have good undulations and are fast. It is open to the public on odd days. .
