The Stockton Seaview Resort and golf course is located just north of Atlantic City in Absecon on Reeds Bay. Sam Snead won the 1942 PGA Championship held here. Both courses are classics, the Bay Course is a Donald Ross design from the 1920's and is short from the back tees at 6247 yards, 122 slope, but don't let that fool you. It's a tough course, and typical to a Ross design, is toughest around the green with pot bunkers, and crowned greens, and collection areas. It's more open and linksy than the Pines course with native tall grasses, and some trees bordering the fairways. A real classic and fun to play something so well preserved from an earlier time. The Pines course is an old classic parkland style course set in the pine barrens area and was designed by Toomey and Flynn and from the tips is 6731 yards, 138 slope. Bentgrass from tee to green, narrow fairways and approaches to the small greens well guarded by bunkers. Both courses are open to public play even if you don't stay here, great service on the course and in the clubhouse, and always well conditioned.

Played the Bay course from the tips in the wind, and it played as tough as any 7,200 yard course you will play with the small, perched greens, well bunkered, and hazards. Course was in great shape for the early summer, a treat to play, especially for the twilight rate of $49!
