Seascape is an old classic course on the Gulf in Destin. It was designed by Joe Lee, and is relatively short at 6340 yards from the blue tees, par 70. There's always wind off the Gulf, and on the 14th, you can actually see it. Not a long course, but it requires good shotmaking to score, with water in play on 15 holes, sand everywhere, and greens which are on the small side and a big perched up. There's two island green par threes, the 7th and the 12th, and there's a couple of par fives that are reachable in two, if you're on target. The routing is through pine tree lined faiways, with some undulation or hills with the dunes through the fairways. Well conditioned and reasonably priced, a good option to play when you're in the area.

Greens need work. Everything else was pretty nice. Only course I play where you had a gulf view on a few holes. It was pretty tough from the blues.
