Seabrook Island is a resort on the Atlantic , 30 minutes from Charleston, between Edisto and Kiawah, with two fantastic 18 hole championship courses, and you need to be staying here to play them. Protected Audubon Sanctuary, pristine conditions, private resort atmosphere, and beautiful clubhouse and facilities. The Crooked Oaks Golf Course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and plays to 6,780 yards, 139 slope that's routed mostly through a combination marshland and tree lined coastal forest, and is extremely challenging with the typical Trent Jones features, sculptured and big bunkers, and contoured, undulating greens. Ocean Winds was designed by Willard Byrd and is a 6,765-yard, 138 slope layout routed along the tidal marshes and natural sand dunes out to the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, and then back to the clubhouse. Very challenging course, from any tee box, well conditioned, especially the greens. Both courses a pleasure to be able to play.
