Scotch Pines is 1 1/2 hours north of Boise, off I-84 at Ontario, then on to Payette. The course wraps around the municipal airport here, and is really a nice little course. Nice folks in the golf shop, the layout plays to a par 72, 6,400 yards, 70.1/116 ratings, and was designed by William S. Massingill in the 1960's. The course has mostly tree lined fairways, but not too tight or thick, you can recover if you're off the fairway, not like you're driving into a forest. The terrain is slightly rolling, but not so bad you couldn't walk if you wanted. Fun course to play, you can beat your handicap here, nicely conditioned, and the greens were excellent!

What a great course. Challenging, but not too difficult, and always in great condition. The staff is very friendly, and have done an incredible job throughout the 2009 golf season. Keep up the good work and I'll keep coming back!
