Schneiters Bluff is west of Clearfield, off I-15 at W 300 North, west to Bluff Road, then south. The golf course was designed by the Schneiter family, opening in the mid-1990's. Fun course to play, forgiving off the tee, even though the fairways are lined with trees, they're new plantings and don't interfere with play all that much...wait a few years though. It's a fairly long course at 6,800 yards from the back tees, 115 slope and 70.2 course rating, but fun and enjoyable course to play, easily walkable, and reasonable rates. Nice clubhouse, friendly staff, and good restaurant area for lunch after the round. Playable for all levels, straightforward holes, a couple of risk/reward shots.

The course challenging, but gf you stay in the fairways, you can shoot a good score, but if not you can find trouble very easily. Most of the fairways are lined with trees, not huge, but difficult to get around. The course has a lot of water hazards, the rough is not very thick or deep and it is manageable to get a good, clean shot on the ball. The greens were playing somewhat fast, and are the most challenging part of the course. Not many of them are flat. There is a lot of break and many hills that create a putting challenge. The pin locations were in tough locations the day we played, and were tough to get up and down. Enjoyable throughout, reasonable rate, and decent conditions.
