Scenic Hills is on the north side of Pensacola, just off US90, east 9 Mile Road. It's routing is through an established residential neighborhood, and either houses or trees line the fairway. It's an older, more traditional style of course originally designed by Chic Adams in the 1950's, with redesign work by Jerry Pate to update and rennovate it to a more modern feel. From the back tees, it's 6,699 yards, par 71, and a 135 slope. Some nice elevation change here, unusual in most of Florida, the course is real challenging if you spray the ball off the tee, it's either the trees, water, or sand which provide the challenge.
