Sarabande CC is a reasonably priced alternative to Mission Inn, just across the street in Howey in the Hills, about 45 minutes from Orlando. It's a parkland layout overlooking Lake Harris by Lloyd Clifton, a central Florida architect who's know for solid and fair tracks. It's basically a back and forth layout with tree lined fairways, a little water, sand, very straightforward, every thing's right in front of you. It can play from 4,800 yards to 6,500 yards, our group generally plays from the White tees at 5,800 yards, 66.9/117 with some drivable par 4's, and 5's in two. Fun course, not too penal, and usually in good shape, for a lot less than playing Mission Inn, and with better views.
