The course is located on the southwest side of Chicago, near the I-55 and I-355 interchange, and is regarded as one of the top public courses in Chicago. It was designed by Pete and P.B. Dye in 1991, and plays to 6,898 yards, 140 slope, par 72 from the tips, but has alternate tees. The course is a challenge both off the tee, and on approach to the greens. The layout includes a great variety - holes where you can grip it and rip it, intermingled with those that require good course management. The putting surfaces are quick but receptive, though quite a few are crowned or ridged. It's well conditioned with excellent clubhouse service and restaurant, and bar.

Good solid course in good conditions, but why anyone would pay +$100 to play here when they could go across the street to Dubsdread for another $20 is beyond me.
