Rollingstone Ranch Golf Club is part of the Sheraton Resort in Steamboat, but you don't have to stay at the Sheraton to play the golf course. The course has been around since the mid-1970's, and was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones, JR. They've spent some money the last few years upgrading the course and the facilities, and it's now probably the top public access course in town. From the back tees it's 6,902 yards with a slope of 138 and a course rating of 72.6. This is a great golf course, one that you will want to play over and over, very well conditioned once the summer season is upon us. Bentgrass greens, very quick and lots of undulation, plenty of sand, and water as well. Challenging course with the elevation change and aspen and evergreen tree lined fairways, and great views. ulating greens. It's routed along the foothills of Mt. Werner, with great views out over the Flat Top Mountains and the Yampa Valley. Fantastic 19th hole/lunch area on the deck overlooking the course and valley.
