Playing to a par of 70 at 6,474 yards (69.9/119), Rolling Meadows covers 165 acres of gently rolling terrain just north of Ann Arbor (US-23 to east on North Territorial Road). The layout is primarily open with a few strategically placed ponds and wetlands. Built and designed in 1978 by Tony Fielek, whose family still owns and operates the club, the course offers a pleasant change of pace for the recreational golfer. There are only a few shallow bunkers and a handful of forced carries over water. Par is protected primarily by the small, quick-running, crowned greens. Getting near the green is easy. Negotiating the final 30 feet can be a challenge.
